Quiet
2022 Performed with Arkadi Zaides - Belgium based activist choreographer (documentary choreography researcher) - in the political dance piece Quiet. We had a European dance tour set up in Belgium, France, and Italy.
About Quiet
In a political climate that allows little room for reflection, Zaides felt an urgency to foster genuine communication. Quiet addresses a state of shared shock and tension that often immobilizes communities. The work serves as a safe haven, a place to confront inner struggles openly, validating even the most irrational reactions, encouraging a broader perspective, and gradually nurturing mutual trust.
Quiet features four performers who uncover a complex emotional landscape—aggression, compassion, confusion, and yearning—that generates an intense dynamic. The creative process intentionally engaged performers from diverse backgrounds, each bringing distinct experiences and perspectives. At the core of the piece is the desire to embrace complexity and discover a place of calm amidst conflict.

About
Construction Remains Film is the 3rd in a sequence of Shiran Eliaserov’s research around the potentialities of myth-making through the excavation of metaphor, performative action, and object-centered social relations.
