Bio

Saed is a performance artist, dance teacher, and festival producer who was previously in tech. In his work, he aims to create spaces that focus on emotional, communal, and social/political processes—whether as a performer, teacher, or festival producer.

He transitioned fully into the arts after a decade of work in tech. He graduated in 2013 from the Technion with a BSc in Computer Science. He also founded an educational technology startup and worked as a software engineer until the end of 2020. Dance was a serious hobby that eventually drove the transition, through years of extensive self-learning.

Saed was born a Palestinian with Israeli citizenship (20% of the country’s citizens are of such status). His life is political not by choice, but it is rooted deeply in his body and across generations. A big part of his journey of teaching and performing is about dealing with and communicating the wounds carried by this generational trauma.

In the 2025/2026 season, Saed is focused on touring between Palestine and Europe, with a strong focus on workshops, performances, and gatherings.
